Even though the snake is not defeated you can see that the woodpecker never give up, when the snake trying to bit him to say that the bird no match of him, so the bird keep coming back and trying his best to defeat the snake, as we all know that many of us hate snake aside from having a dangerous venom they posses but very unpredicted behavior of the snake.
The only lesson that we learn here that we should also apply in real life is that "Never Give Up for any things that we want to success, believe in GOD and always think possitive, hardship is always transparent of success".
