How to check if Account is Being Hacked or Not?

People nowadays is getting involved in social media, and there is a lot of social media platform which requires you to create your personal account, password, and photos, this way you are able to engage and connect people using your personal account create on a social media platform.

But, did you know that your account might be able to hacked by attackers and hackers on the internet, so before creating your account or if you already have your account make sure that you have your strong password created in this way attackers will hard to guess your password.

"The number of attempts needed to crack a password increases by a factor of 95 with every additional upper case letter, lower case letter, special character and number," says Professor Christoph Meinel, director of the Hasso Plattner Institute at the University of Potsdam in Germany.

Now, most importantly do not try using similar password on all your online accounts such as bank account, facebook account, gmail, etc.

Better to use different password with at least 1 or 2 capital letters, and a special characters to ensure that hackers will hard to hacked your account.

so for example you have a password of iloveYou just simply add special characters like @>iLoveyoU23_> or any combinations you think that is hard to guess.

Also avoid giving your password using chat or email, you can actually store your personal data and password in a safe place such as your personal diary or notebook, make sure also that you often change or updated your password.

How Often You Updated Your Password?

Well, we recommend you to update your password at least 3 months or its better if per month, depends on the online account you use, for example online bank account, it is better to update the password every month to avoid any problems.
