"Maybe, somehow we can now craft the set up within the federal structures. President Duterte then suggested the creation of negotiating panels that will discuss the kind of federalism that the MNLF leader is pushing for the Moro people.
The palace spokesperson Salvador Panela said that Misuari agrees on the suggestion. Aiming the goal of what kind of mechanism the MNLF wants in pushing the federalism.
Spokesperson Panelo also added that the government is prepared to thwart any rebellion even as he believed that the government and the MNLF would not reach on this stage.
President Duterte proposed shift from presidential to a federal system has yet to pass to the Congress.
We all know that since President Duterte is in his campaign period, he clearly voice out to the public that he will push the federalism. Federalism was then into the consideration even before President Duterte has elected. But there are other person which against about it, the battle of the government and the MNLF is still ongoing even for these days.
The peace talks between the government and MNLF is still ongoing nowadays. It might be through ups and down for some reason but the peace talks still in discussion to make sure that both parties are approved to what will be the final result.
