Duterte to Mayor in Malabon "Mayor linisin mo ang Malabon mo. Bigyan kita isang buwan" or face arrest

On his speech during the inauguration of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), President Rodrigo Duterte challenged Mayor Antolin Oreta III in Malabon to get rid the illegal drugs on the city in a month. President Rodrigo Duterte made a speech during the PDP-Laban campaign rally in Malabon. It was attended by the re-electionist Federico “Ricky” Sandoval III, the rival of the current Mayor Oreta III, along with his wife Vice Mayor Jeannie Sandoval.

The Sandoval is the representative and members of the ruling PDP-Laban party.

"Ganito ang Malabon ngayon. It's your choice. Pinili ninyo eh. Droga pinili ninyo," the President said. "Mayor linisin mo ang Malabon mo. Bigyan kita isang buwan." President Rodrigo Duterte said.

“'Pag hindi sabihin ko kay Ricky, sorry na lang ha pahuli ko 'yung mayor ninyo. Itapon ko sa Manila Bay," Duterte said, drawing applause and laughter from the crowd.” President Duterte added.

Fighting Drugs are the number one and first list of President Duterte administration propaganda as he offers during his campaign. There might be many issues has been published and trend about the current administration but the operation on fighting drugs is still continue.

A week before President Duterte made a dare to Mayor Oreta III, the City of Malabon government stated that out of 21 there are more than six barangays were declared drug-cleared by the Inter-agency Committee on Anti-Drugs (ICAD). The operating was headed by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is now handling the operation about drugs after the Philippine National Police (PNP) got questioned by the extra-judicial killing. As now that the PDEA, the operation of drugs is still on process as it was called OPLAN TOKHANG. There might be still questioned but not that the same when the PNP handle the operation.
