Summer is one of the popular seasons in any country. Talking about summer is corresponding to travel, get together, and beach with friends and family. It serves as the break time from a long period of working and for students. Most people summer spend on popular beaches and traveling to different places. Corresponding to the travel aspect most people got an excitement to post and update their status in social media. Posting a vacation status in social media will leads to either good and bad.
Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Bernard Banac said that not posting vacation photos on social media during the trip will help vacationers to stay safe. He suggests to stop posting your vacation photos on social media as he welcomes the Filipinos for the summer season and on more vacation on his speech yesterday.
“If possible, post your photos after you’re done with your vacation,” he said, according to ABS-CBN News.
Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Bernard Bana on his press conference, he gave other safety tips by saying to the public that they should lock their houses properly before going away on their trips. He also mentions that the vacationers will be responsible for their belongings while traveling.
“Our houses should be safe and secured and if possible ask your neighbor to look after it,” he said.
He also added for those people who using party drugs when enjoying the summer will be responsible if caught.
“To those who are going to places which will be full of foreigners and other Filipinos, again we remind you, avoid party drugs. Those who will try small amounts and add it to their drinks thinking that they’ll have more fun but when you are caught, you will be made responsible for that,” Banac added.
Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Bernard Banac that the PNP has launched OPLAN SUMVAC 2019, where it is an operation of deploying 78,000 cops on major roads, seaports, tourist destinations, airports, and other crowded places to keep the safety of the travelers. Expecting that there are more patrols and police assistance desk in the area such as seaport and terminals during the OPLAN SUMVAC operation.
Assuming that all the cops’ vacation leave will be canceled during the operation to ensure that they will have enough people to deploy. The said operation will end in June when the classes start.
